A ndrea Foschi is passionate about making ice-cream. Born on October 14th, 1962 in the Italian town of Riolo Terme (Ravenna province, Italy), he has enjoyed ice cream since he was a child and always wanted to become an ice cream maker or a chef – or even both. But, following his parents’ advice as he grew up, he decided to study Information Technology. He even worked for a time in the field of IT but his heart wasn’t really in it.

T he thought of becoming a master ice cream maker became  stronger and stronger over time,  and he eventually followed his heart and entered the professional ice-cream school of Perugia (Italy), graduating with excellence in 2007. Not long after in 2009, already living in Spain with his wife, he decided to open his own ice cream shop. This is how “Fresca Passione” was born, offering authentic Italian ice cream in Calle Ramón Gómez de la Serna in downtown Marbella.
